Gina Solatura's official website features her work-in-progress dramedy, You’re In America Now, a historical fiction novel about the D’Angelos emigrating from family-centric Sicily to independence-minded America. Follow the non-English speaking widow and her son through Ellis Island, settling in a Jewish Bronx neighborhood and assimilating to the American way (sort of). Gina's humor draws from ancestral history, her big-hearted family, and hours of oral traditions passed down for generations.
